I would like to try .50 cal, but i have 3 pb guns and none of them have conversion kits, nor is there any sign of them making kits. my local fields dont let you use it, and theres nowhere to buy .50 cal paint here. so id rather stick with .68

I agree with your friend; I hate toting hopper. My solution so far has been the T8 and T9, which I use as my standard setup. I also use my Tippmann Alpha Black with cyclone feed modified with a thirty-round hopper. However, if you want a hopper-less gun that is more practical, check out MilSig. You'd have to be crazy to make a marker like this, so naturally the company is Canadian.

I'm about to throw down for a K-series Elite Pro that comes with an in-stock, refillable HPA tank (that will get you ~120 shots per fill) and is fed by 18-19 round mags. On top of that, I hear they are exceptionally built. The only thing I would be more excited about would be the same marker in .50 cal. With the change in caliber you drop some weight and bulk as well as increase the mag capacity and shots per tank fill.

As for the smaller paint possibly finding its way through gaps in masks, I am not worried about getting hurt myself because my mask/helmet system is designed for use with simunition. I know I'm crazy. I should have been Canadian.
