OKC Goes to Action Acres

For most of us it was our first time.  For others it was their second or third. At the end of the day, we had a great time.

Action Acres is fantastic field. It provides a diversity of playing areas that keeps things fresh and in yo face action.  On top of that, the field has enormous “woodsball” potential.  Just yards up the hill from the parking area is a tree farm.  Rows of Christmas trees with spottedaction acres 2 open areas cover the field.    Except with this field the trees are decidedly taller and more spaced out.  I guess you just have to be there but it was totally awesome and worth the look. Let’s hope Action Acres decides to go that route.  I would lend a hand.

The field itself includes three different playing areas.  The first is your traditional speedball field with blow up barriers and all the jazz.  The second is a small field comprised of large crates that almost give it a warehouse feel.  Games are fast and intense.  The third field, and the one we played most, includes a more urban environment with everything from wooden buildings to washer machines that surround a large fort like castle.  This field in particular I found most enjoyable. There was something unique and funny about the field.  Its layout was perfect and made for some really interesting games.

Shit tawkin: The single porta-potty in the parking lot is not acceptable. Especially given its disgusting condition. If it’s OK to take a wiz somewhere on the field, I have no problem with it, but seriously that thing was bad.  Real bad. Some of the paint was brittle too.  Real brittle. I didn’t buy any because I brought all my old paint sitting in the closet. I had no breaks and witnessed half of my teams markers turn into super soakers. I understand this is a common and sometimes unpreventable reality of storing/selling paint.  There are ways around it though and we hope it doesn’t have to happen again.

With everything said, Action Acres certainly delivered a great day of paintball.  The staff and regulars were all very friendly as well.  We look forward to coming back.

What did you expect an ivory toilet with silk toilet paper? LOL

Don’t change Action Acres, keep the nasty shit house. If people have to take a dump that’s their problem.
